Evol Technology Swingarm Slider-Spools.

We're proud to announce the availability of our Swingarm Slider-Spools, the latest addition to the Evol Technology product line.

As with all of our stuff, they are brutally functional, providing a broad, easy target for your rearstand -- which is a big help not only in endurance racing, but on track days as well -- no more fumbling around in your sweaty leathers trying desperately to center the stand on puny little spools before the bike falls over.  :)

Designed with a slightly domed outer profile to provide a nice sliding surface in the event of a crash and machined from billet aluminum, these aren't just spools, they're swingarm sliders.  We've seen too many plastic spools snap off or grind down to the swingarm  -- ouch -- so this is our reaction.  We're confident our hard anodized billet aluminum slider-spools are a little detail that will go a long way toward improving your riding experience.

We'll have them in our online store soon -- until then, drop us a line if you'd like a set and we'll hook you up.

Evol Technology Swingarm Slider-Spool, ready for prime time.

First production run complete.

Prototype e/t slider-spools, tested by Evol Technology rider Devon McDonough on his AMA Pro Supersport R6.  Devon & team love 'em for the simplification of the rear stand placement process and for their durability.

Solid model of the Evol Technology Swingarm Slider-Spools.  Outer diameter is 1.5" -- beefy.

Evol Tech ET-X Modular Shark Guard.

We completed development of our shark guard, just in time for the AMA season opener. Devon's been running them on his R6 and we'll have them available through our store shortly.

The final production version will be hard clear anodized.  The logo will be laser engraved rather than machined.

Shark guard and ET-X rearsets installed on Chris Burgess' 675R.  Our shark guard bolts directly to the factory mounting tabs of the Triumph's swingarm.  Very clean.

Freshly machined guard, machined logo "enameled" with black paint.  Can you say "prototype"?  :)

Close-up of prototype guard installed on Devon's AMA Pro Supersport R6.  Devon crash tested it for us in Daytona -- it took a hit and apart from some road rash survived perfectly.

Update: e/t Supported AMA Pro Supersport R6.

Team Motorcycle Superstore / Devon McDonough had a great weekend at the WERA Vegas round a couple of weekends ago and we had the pleasure of joining them.  This is Devon's first season in the AMA Pro Supersport class and Evol Tech's as well, so we all wanted to take full advantage of this early race weekend to test and tune.  Devon, the team, and the machinery all performed flawlessly -- we're all that much more excited as we approach Daytona!

ET-X Rearsets for R6: First Race Weekend.

In preparation for his inaugural AMA season, Devon McDonough and his ET-X equipped Yamaha R6 participated in the recent WERA Las Vegas weekend.  Devon, team, and machinery had a great weekend and we're proud to say the rearsets performed flawlessly for him -- the grip provided by our burly footpegs especially stood out to Devon.

The team brought both of their Motorcycle Superstore sponsored Yamaha R6s, but focused their attention primarily on one of them.  Even with no prior experience at this track, Devon's times dropped consistently from session to session, and he finished all of his races well ahead of his starting positions deep in the grid.

In addition to lots of pix we took a ton of video, which we're currently editing and will post soon -- stay tuned!

Chuck Burns (left) and Garret Sweigert provided excellent
technical leadership over the course of the weekend.

16 year old Devon already looking pro.

This is not Chuck's first rodeo.

Time to grid-up!

Devon and Garrett, strategizing pre-race.

Ah, the "hurry up and wait" game.

Looking pretty good after a three day race weekend.

ET-X Rearsets for Triumph 675: First Fitment.

We fitted up the first set of Triumph ET-X Rearsets at the WERA Vegas round.  Here they are, in their middle foot placement setting.  Note the shifer arrangement, with the unique Evol Technology case-mounted shifter pivot.

Thanks, Chris Burgess, for all your input and feedback over the course of the weekend.

We're currently developing more Triumph 675 hardware -- stay tuned!
